Johannes Anthonie (son of Frederik and Cornelia) was born at Breede River in the Worcester district and baptised on 22 December 1748 Tulbach. Johannes passed away on 8 August 1808 at the age of 60. Lived at Weltevrede, Tradouw moved to Swellendam 1n 1791.

He was 30 years old when he married Maria Elizabeth LOMBARD who was 16 years old on 1 March 1778. Maria was baptised 25 July 1762 Swartland, Tulbagh. She was the daughter of Antonie LOMBARD born 29 March 1722 and Isabella POTGIETER born 14 September 1727.
